Carajita, the Dominican drama that features a relationship between a young socialite and her nanny that transcends their class and race conditions wins the Jury Award for Best Feature Film at Houston Latino Film Festival.
During the course of the 5-day event, which began on March 15, 2023, HLFF presented more than 60 independent films from 17 countries. Los Hermanos (The Brothers), the film that follows brothers, Ilmar and Aldo López-Gavilán, two music virtuosos as they perform together for the first time after nearly a lifetime apart, wins the Jury Award for Best Feature Documentary.
