The Houston Latino Film Festival is thrilled to announce the winners of its 8th annual edition, celebrating excellence in Latino storytelling. This year’s event, held March 20th – 24th in Houston TX, brought together industry luminaries, filmmakers, actors, and enthusiasts from around the globe to honor outstanding achievements in Latino cinema.
Among the highlights of the festival was an appearance by Cheech Marin for the movie THE LONG GAME, winner of the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature Film, and the World Premiere of debut Mexican feature film SHAME (Verguenza) by director Miguel Salgado and screenwriter Alfredo Mendoza who were in attendance and winners of the Jury Ojo Award for Best Narrative Feature Film. The Houston Latino Film Festival extends its deep appreciation to its volunteers, sponsors, jury members, and community partners, whose support made this event possible.
