Antoine and Olga are a French couple who settled long ago in a village in the interior of Galicia. They live quietly, although their coexistence with the locals is not as idyllic as they would like. A conflict with their neighbors, the Anta brothers, will cause tension in the village that will rise to a point of no return.

Winner of the Goya Award for Best Film and closing film of the 7th annual Houston Latino Film Festival.

About the Director

Rodrigo Sorogoyen del Amo is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He won the Goya Award for Best Director and the Goya Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Realm, a feat he repeated for The Beasts.
