The Competition Line-Up for the 2023 Houston Latino Film Festival
The Houston Latino Film Festival is pleased to present the Official 2023 Film Selection that will be in competition. Chosen from almost 500 total submissions worldwide; over 70 short and feature films of all genres will be screened starting March 15 through March 19, 2023 at the MATCH – Midtown Arts Theater Center Houston. Every year, HLFF embraces new voices, creativity and a passion for innovative storytelling that highlights the Latinx experience. The competition features eight categories including Best Narrative Feature Film, Best Documentary Feature Film, Best Short Narrative Film, Best Short Documentary Film, Best Student Film, Best Texas Film, Audience Award for Feature Film and Audience Award for Short Film. Our Spotlight film selection (non-competition) will be announced with the full festival schedule on February 16th.
